So you know something about podcasting, and you're ready to try making your own? In this workshop, you will have a chance to work with experienced podcasters as we put you behind the microphone so you can learn by doing. Using actual equipment, we'll teach sound recording, editing, good microphone technique, and publication. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have recorded a short show of their own!

Setting Up The Studio (Ryan Macklin) - Friday 10 AM
Part of making a quality podcast is the hardware. We will discuss microphones, sound boards, and acoustic treatment of your recording room. We will also discuss some software packages that you will need to produce and polish your show.
